First print of "The Cry for Coyote"

Okay, I know the image is a bit blurry, but I still had to post a photo of the first printing of "The Cry for Coyote", because I'm a very proud papa right now. I finished my thesis, and it's ever so pretty (at least to me), and I just had to share it with the world. Yay!

Let's Go Clubing!

Okay, so to keep the ball rolling, we've couple of panels from my Graphic Novel, involving a bit of fun and frivolity at a hot-spot night club. I've included the pencils, inks and colored pages, to show the progression.

What can I say? I'm trying to keep busy. :)

Cry of Coyote: Stealing of Fire Dream Page

Another page from the Cry of Coyote story that I'm working on. You'll notice the obvious artistic style change between this and what was previously posted. Well, there is a method to the madness. The art in the story will change from normal during dream and storytelling sequences. This page for example is the re-telling of the Native American legend "How Coyote Stole Fire".

I've included the pencil, and completed pages.

Enjoy!

Cry of Coyote: Preview Pencils

Well, in order to keep this blog going, I thought I'd post some of the initial pencil works for the first few pages of my graphic novel "Cry of Coyote". This is the first sequence of the story.

I won't be posting the entire story for obvious reasons, but I'll be sure to post frames and work progression.
