HP: The Deathly Hallows (The Three Brothers) - The Death of the 2nd Brother

So today I'm uploading a second image from work on the Three Brothers story art. The following sequence is when the second brother uses the resurrection stone that Death gave him to revive the spirit of his dead girlfriend. But the fact she's not technically alive, drives him to do something drastic.

Enjoy,

Harry Potter: The Tale of the Deathly Hallows: Three Brothers Cover Art

So, as I mentioned some time ago, I did work regarding the small story of the "THREE BROTHERS" from the Harry Potter Franchise. I had hoped to scan and upload the completed work for all to see. In fact, I had hoped to put it up in time for the new HP movie that came out (which is AWESOME by the way!) but as mentioned in another previous post, fate has not been kind to me.

But hurray! I am now able to upload the water-colored version of the original concept art for the story!

Enjoy Muggles!

Wacky times

Hey everyone and HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2011!

So yeah, it's been a while since I've posted on here, and for that I'm sorry. Moving out of San Francisco back to Nebraska, along with the holidays and the fact my computer stopped worked at a very inopportune time, can be a bit problematic.

Well, now that I have my computer back, I'll be posting new stuff in the coming days. Furthermore, I'm working on starting up a new website for myself, where my work will also be displayed. Look for it soon.

Thanks!

Harry Potter Concept Art: The Tale of the Deathly Hallows: Three Brothers Cover Art

Greeting again peoples,
So here's another piece of work that I've done regarding the HARRY POTTER books. I've taken the story of the the THREE BROTHERS from book 7 "The Deathly Hallows" and worked to make them into a children's book. This is the cover for said book in early drawing form.

We see the three brothers each with their gift from Death himself. The eldest gets the Elder Wand, which is undefeatable. The middle brother gets the resurrection stone, which allows him to raise a specter-like ghost. The youngest brother has a cloak of invisibility that even Death himself cannot see through. In the distance, on the bridge that the brothers created with their magic, we see Death hungrily awaiting his chance. You'll have to read the whole story to understand it, but I really do love this tale.

And yes, the image is shoty again... I'll get my scanner to work! I promise! Really!

Enjoy,

Face Sketches

This is one of the many works I did during my hated free time. While I'm still working on other works particularly some comic related stuff, there are times where I need to do something less... specific. So, here are some random face sketches. Again, I have no proper scanner at the moment and my camera isn't getting the best shots. But this works until then, right? Pwease...?

Enjoy!

Harry Potter Concept Art: The Tale of the Deathly Hallows: Ignotus Peveral

Hey folks. So sorry for taking so long on updating. Things have been nothing short of insane with one thing or another. The job search continues. I've got some new images to post however! yay!

No these images are the best scans, because my scanner konked out. Instead I have to take pictures with my camera and they just aren't that good. :*( I'll repost these when the scanner is working.

This is some early concept art of Ignotus from the Three Brothers story from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. (FYI: I can't wait for the movie!!!) I opted to avoid the stereotypical robes of the HP books, and instead gave him a bit of a Dark Age's page-boy outfit. He's also sporting the famous invisibility cloak that eventually ends up in the hands of the series' title character.
