And now for something completely different...

So, as I get closer to the big day of Graduation, I decided it was time to go through all of my old art work, and see what to keep and what to get rid of (I've got a small apartment. There is no way I can keep everything). As I went through things, I found some old works that I kinda felt happy with, and though, I dunno, what the heck? Post some of 'em.

So, here you go. A couple of my old art pieces from AAU.

Spring Show/Marvel Comics (The Art)

Okay gang, as promised I'm posting my pages for the Spring-Show and Marvel Comics. I hope you like. I did some minor edits before the official submission though, because I'm a perfectionist of sorts and thus re-posted the final work. :)

These are from the script for (New) Runaways #2.

Spring Show/Marvel Comics

Okay, so sometime back C.B. Cebulski, a writer/editor/talent-scout from Marvel Comics came to my school (Academy of Art University) to do portfolio reviews. I was amongst a handful of lucky-enough students who got to meet with him. He then gave me a card, and told me to get in contact with Marvel. I did, and they sent me some sample scripts to do 'audition' pages for them. My choices were "The Marvelous Land of Oz" or "(New) Runnaways #2"

I opted to do Runaways, cause it has a dinosaur in it! :D

Well, I finished those pages, but before I could submit them, I opted to show to them to my professors at the school. My professor, to my surprise, requested that I submit four of the pages to the school's annual Spring Show, along with some pages from "The Cry for Coyote" comic I did.

Both projects are to be shown in the Spring Show on May 27 through sometime in June.

I have to admit, I'm pretty excited. :) I'll be sure to post copies of my work soon.

Da Bears...

To make sure that I keep this website going, I should probably post something huh? Well, since I'm not ready to post the new stuff I'm working on, I thought I'd put up another page from "The Cry of Coyote". Behold! Spooky Bear!
